How do I find the Hardware Address of my Wireless Ethernet
card?
Windows 95/98/ME
Go
to the Windows Start button
Select
Run
In
the Open: window type winipcfg
Click
OK button
The
IP configuration window will be displayed. Use the pull down menu and select
your wireless adapter. The number
corresponding to the Adapter Address is the hardware address.
Windows 2000/XP
Go
to the Windows Start button
Select
Run
In
the Open: window type cmd
At
the command prompt type ipconfig
/all
Physical
Address displayed is the hardware address of the wireless adapter.
Macintosh OS9 or OS8
Select
Airport from the Apple Menu
Select
Info button
The
hardware address is now displayed.
Macintosh OSX
Select
the System Preferences...
Select
Network Preferences
Under
Show: select Airport
